Green Room engages the global health tech innovation and commercialization community through our volunteer commitments to accelerators, associations, and universities. We also support and sponsor a number of local businesses and non-profits as well as community activities including the thriving Austin music scene.
Green Room supports local businesses including Thurman Jacksons’ Work Hard Be Nice line of merchandise that promotes an important message for kids and adults alike! #workhardbenice
Darrell Woelk, CTO of Green Room Technologies, has been a contributor to the HL7 FHIR data exchange standard since 2014. His focus now is on FHIR Accelerators and FHIR Connectathons that broaden the deployment of FHIR and leverage FHIR to standardize healthcare device connectivity, clinical decision support, and computable clinical practice pathways.
Green Room has long supported the global Health Information Medical Management Society (HIMSS). Kristin Norton, CSO for Green Room, served on the board of the Austin HIMSS chapter for 8 years in various positions including membership chair, programs chair, advocacy chair and president! We love their motto: Better Living Through Health Technology
Like most Austinites, the Green Room tribe has a fond appreciation for the Texas Music Scene. Learn more about one of our faves – 22-year-old blues guitar phenom, Lucas Johnson, and the Lucas Johnson Band!
